Use spatula to scoop product into hand, warm between palms, and gently press onto clean and damp skin.

This is an anhydrous product, meaning, it has been formulated without water. As a result, for maximum skin health, you will want to apply these balms/cream as the last skin care step - after essence/toner/distillate/floral water/hydrosol/serum/lotion. Or at the very least, always apply to damp skin in order to seal hydration in, not out.
